The Rogue World Music Festival was amazing again this year! There were so many fabulously talented artists. It just keeps getting better. I feel so lucky to get to be a part of it.

Fire Recovery Fundraiser

Supporting the recovery of Talent & Phoenix after the 2020 Almeda Wildfire.

On September 8, 2020 Almeda Wildfire decimated the cities of Talent & Phoenix and parts unincorporated Jackson County, displacing thousands; primarily low-income, Latinx, and/or community elders.

Since 2020, the RWMF has raised $36,000+ for programs helping community members return home. In 2024, hundreds still live in temporary or transitional housing.

This year our fire recovery fundraiser supports the AGE+ affordable housing project in Talent, serving Almeda Wildfire-displaced seniors.

All donations made are donated in full to support the AGE+ affordable senior housing project under development in Talent, OR. This project prioritizes providing housing for older community members who are low-income and still displaced by the loss of their home in 2020.

Rogue World Music is a 501(c)(3) Oregon arts nonprofit organization, and all donation made through us are tax deductible and eligible for an Oregon State Income Tax Credit. Find out how to earn a tax credit in addition to a tax donation via the Oregon Cultural Trust.

Talent Age+ housing project rendering. This 22-unit senior housing project on Suncrest Road in Talent will open in the summer of 2024.

AGE+ empowers communities of all ages to value and care for older adults, especially those who are isolated, low-income, and underserved. They engage communities through stimulating partnerships, and developing innovative programs that address the challenges and opportunities of aging across the lifespan.

AGE+ embraces the expertise of local community champions and works alongside those with lived experience to create immediate and long-term impact. They focus their work where the need is greatest, including rural areas, low-income communities, and communities of color.

The amount of accessible, affordable housing available for older adults remains a challenge in rural areas, especially where communities are still rebuilding after devastating wildfires. In response to this crisis, AGE+ developed a new model of hybrid modular construction that quickly and efficiently creates housing, allowing many older adults to age in the communities they love.

This 22-unit senior housing project on Suncrest Road in Talent (opening in summer 2024). Residents for this new housing project will be older adults, low-income (60% of area median income), with preference to victims of the Alameda fire of 2020 that destroyed 2600 homes in the region, most of which belonged to Latinx families.
